HEY EVERYONE!


We’re excited to announce the Beta Release of the TeamSpeak 6 Server! This version is part of our ongoing development of TeamSpeak 6 and is now ready for testing. It’s still a work in progress, and your feedback will be essential in helping us improve the server for the final release.

We want to be clear, this Beta release is intended strictly for testing and feedback. The goal of this Beta is to gather real-world feedback so we can refine the experience before a full release.

Use it. Break it. Tell us what works and what doesn’t.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• 
  No sign-up required: Download, run, and start testing right away.
  
  
• 
  Available for Windows and Linux: Both binaries and Docker image provided.

  S3 Support: Includes support for the new S3-based File Transfer system.
  

Limitations: Please note that TeamSpeak 3 Server licenses are not compatible with TeamSpeak 6 Servers, and currently, there is no migration path available between the two versions.

Additionally, it is not yet possible to obtain or upgrade to a larger license for TeamSpeak 6.

Just wanted to quickly say that we’re aware of all the feedback coming in and we’re paying close attention. I completely understand the frustration around the 5 slot license limit for the beta. We didn’t mean to disappoint or frustrate anyone, and I want to reassure everyone that your concerns are being heard.

I’ll make sure all of your feedback is passed on for further review. Just a quick reminder to please keep things constructive and respectful. This beta exists so we can gather real-time feedback from our community, learn from it, and improve accordingly based on your needs.

I’ll post more updates as soon as I have more information to share from the team.
