We're happy to announce that server 3.1.0 is now available.

Server 3.1.0 brings a new accounting and licensing system. Every server will now require a license to run, a default license for 1 server and 32 slots is included in the server.

We've changed our versioning scheme with this release. The 4th digit was dropped and we'll be switching to use patch version increases for maintenance releases, minor version increases for features.

Important:
You will have to accept the server license agreement before being allowed to use the server. See doc/server_quickstart.txt in the server download or this FAQ for information on how to do that. If you attempt to start the server without accepting the license you will get an error log file created with instructions as well. On Linux systems this information will also be printed to console. The license can be found in the LICENSE file or license.txt (depending on platform).

Accounting communication is now HTTPS, so adjustments to your firewall rules may be required! Please see this FAQ.

! Before you run the teamspeak 3 server it is required that you agree to our license. This license
can be found in the file "license.txt" or "LICENSE" (depending on your platform), which is
located in the same location as the ts3server binary (the main folder). If, after reading it,
you agree to the license, this can be indicated in one of three ways:
1: Create a file called ".ts3server_license_accepted" in the current working directory. The
